Who could resist that smile?

Not me! And, I think, not mama either, although she was very consistent when typical childhood antics were displayed and I was most impressed!

It’s always so fun being around mothers with younger children. I am transported back to the days when my own two boys couldn’t hold still and were drooling and slobbering and running around and giggling and pouting and smiling and frowning not complete without a lollipop – all within in a matter of minutes.

PamN - So fun and modern! These REALLY made me smile – love the color and the light, and most of all the smiles!

Joyce - I could not resist it! Adorable boys and beautiful images!

Got that Summer Feeling

Congratulations to the Class of 2011! This high school senior from Salem Academy is setting some pretty high standards this year with her all-American beauty and smile (along, of course, with her personality and heart). Styled to perfection, complete with red rain boots and professional make-up application by Mya before her session, Lauren’s summer senior portrait session was summery and full of sunshine. Just like her.

Enjoy summer and all the warmth it brings!

PamN - Absolutely stunning…looks like a magazine spread!

Joyce - What a beautiful girl! I love all of the images. Lovely!

Carol Biamont - Daveen, WOW, what a joy it was to see how you captured not only Lauren’s beauty, but her joyful spirit. :-) You are an amazing photographer and we are blessed to know that you will be capturing all of Lauren’s senior photographs. I love the full lips. I only wish and I am her mother!

Baby. Brother.

This little guy was only five days old when he had his very first portrait session late last week. Mommy was relaxed and low-key and totally in-love with her precious baby.

I look at the little forehead creases, the soft, downy hair, and his sweet little lips and am totally transported back to that time with my own “little” babies. Does it do the same for you? When babies wake up and things aren’t quite so calm, it’s the contented sleepy little sighs that help mommies get through. And when they are bigger and running around and making a mess, it’s the memories of those sighs that can bring the happiest smile to your heart.

Daddy kept big brother occupied in the back yard, which was oh so helpful, as brother was a budding photog himself . . . Fisher Price camera in hand, he and I were in quite the conflict artistically. We “disagreed” on the best angle of light and arrangement of blankets. Giggling, drawing, and orange chalky Crocs were the order of the morning – once things moved outside!

Littlest Details

“Little eyes, little nose. Tiny fingers, tiny toes. Parts of you, so precious to me . . . you’re as sweet as sweet can be.”
