I seem to be on a lucky streak weather wise. My last several sessions have been scheduled on days that have been preceeded by really icky weather. But . . . when I wake up, peek outside, and see clear skies, I’m so happy, because I absolutely love doing sessions outside in the cold and I know my lucky streak is continued. Bundling up in sweaters just screams "Autumn" and "Winter’s Coming!" and I love it. Sooo, if you are wondering whether or not your session will be successful in colder weather, I think the answer is a resounding, "YES!"
This 5 year old little guy from today was very fun to photograph. Mom had warned me that he might be kind of quiet, and he was at first:
But I have some tricks up my sleeve that seem to do the job and allow us to get shots like this:
After awhile, it did get a little chilly, so we moved inside to take advantage of the lovely window light and warm up his little cheeks:

Daveen, you are truly gifted! I love looking over your photos and am always just so impressed with your art. Hopefully we can do another shoot with Hannah sometime in the spring/summer!
