Tween

According to Dictionary.com:

tween: n. A child between middle childhood and adolesence, usually between 8 and 12 years old.

As a former elementary school teacher (3rd and 6th grade), I have a special place in my heart reserved for tweens. They are fun and funny, goofy, messy and slightly moody (well, my own is, at least), and love a good time. Sure, they may look a little bit solemn in the images below, but they aren’t. Don’t you know that half the fun is trying to look all cool and Gap like? And that certainly makes for a great time at our sessions (and makes these tweens below look like they belong in a print ad).
