I’m winding things down for December and thought it would be fun to feature some of my clients on the Daveen Photography Blog. A big THANK YOU to those who have sent in responses.
First, up, however, is ME. When I sent out the email asking if they’d like to participate, I had a couple of moms say they’d love to read what I would say. So I’ll start:

What’s on the top of your children’s Christmas list this year? Anything Ben 10, Star Wars the Complete Saga for DS, and Jabba’s Barge (Lego Star Wars)
What’s on the top of YOUR Christmas list this year? I have a habit of buying what I want when I want it, soooo, this year I’m going with a Nordstrom Gift Card.
The gift you are most excited to give: Jabba’s Barge to my youngest son – that thing was hard to find!
Are you involved in any Church/Charity events through the Holidays? We always do Angel Tree gifts. The boys get boys and I buy for a little girl.
What is something you *don’t* do during the Holidays? I don’t decorate for Christmas too much. Just the basics. I think we’ve only put lights up once???? It’s sad really, but I think I’m too practical to willingly clean up for days afterwards.
Name your very favorite Holiday food: Layered Green Salad and Molassas Crinkle Cookies
What is your favorite Holiday tradition: I always give my sons new pajamas on Christmas Eve and then take their pictures in front of the tree.
What are your favorite local restaurants (Portland counts): Oba! in the Pearl and California Pizza Kitchen up at Bridgeport
What are your favorite local stores? Online Stores? I love Nordstrom. My favorite online store is Amazon.com
What are your favorite websites to visit? See above
Any business or fun information you want to share? I’ve worked with some amazing families this year and it’s made 2007 so great. Thank you! Also, I can’t say enough good things about the boutique in West Salem that my work is displayed at, Bumble’s. The ladies there have been just so fun to work with (and buy from!)
And last, but certainly not least, what do you *love* about Daveen Photography? I love that running this business fulfills many sides of me: my love for children (I’m a former teacher) and meeting/working with families to help them remember their children in an amazingly special and genuine way, and it really fulfills the artistic/creative side of my personality. I pour my heart and soul into each session I do and I love it when client’s "get" that.
