A Rainy Day Family

I do not willingly accept family sessions. I’m just gonna be honest. Unless I know your family or have worked with you as a client before and we’ve gotten along great, it’s just too much of a stressor on my little artistic sensabilities. That being said, I AM a photographer for goodness sake. I CAN do them. I DO do them. I just generally choose not to because of contrasting “visions” if you will. Please keep in mind, though, that if I you do talk me into it (those who have inquired know what I’m talking about!) you can consider yourself special, because I certainly do.

Well, when this little sister (who is not so little anymore) of one of my BFFs called me from Anchorage to see if I’d do a session for their family while they were in town, I jumped. We scheduled and even though it rained the entire session and I’m pretty sure she’s going to be happy . . . thank goodness for delapidated fruit stands. They were all dry and the kiddos had fun counting the huge drips that flattened my poofy hair.

And . . . ahem. I’ll take this one down if you want me too, J. :)

Enjoy your sneak peek up in AK!
