Puerto Rico

Most people would agree that it’s good to take time away. It provides a recovery of sorts. My husband and I returned and are “recovering”(ha!) from our 10 day vacation to Puerto Rico.

Actually, I am recovering. One of my little toes was, in the doctor’s words, “shattered” the fourth day into our vacation, and that fact totally nixed the idea of me wearing any of the new sandles I had purchased and packed specifically for looking cute. Darn that lounge chair.

I did get a chance to do some sightseeing in Old San Juan. Very fun and oh so pretty. As an avid reader of all historical fiction, I was fascinated with the history of this “town” and tried to do it justice with my camera.

Random textures, shapes, and scenes that caught my eye:

Oh, and some less important historical stuff, but still, an extremely important part of our trip:

Love these! So colorful and interesting. Makes me feel like I was there as well. It is so much fun to be able to travel and document the trip at the same time. A true passion of mine. Based on these it looks like it is a passion of yours as well!
