Still Morning

It was a clear, sunny morning with just about perfect fall weather, but more than that, it was working with a wonderful young woman who showed a special something on this still, Autumn morning.

Special thanks go to:
Mya Rios, the fabulous make-up artist who I’ve been working with this year
Nicole Moul, owner of Salon 124 in Keizer, who as always, did a wonderful job on hair and came in early as a special favor (:))

Speaks for Himself.

I’m not quite sure if this blog post needs words . . . I think this precious little guy speaks for himself:

His eyes are saying he is a silly, happy little guy who sometimes has a serious side.
His cheeks are saying he likes big smoochy kisses from his family.
His sweet expressions are saying he adores it when you give him all your love.

At least, that’s what I hear him saying, loud and clear. I’d bet that his mommy and daddy and grandma and grandpa might agree and even hear more.

Fun and Fresh.

Just wanted to share these two lovely seniors girls who had their senior portrait sessions last week. And as for the title, both were both!

Please note: I am still getting inquiries for senior portraits and will not be scheduling any more senior portraits before the end of the year. I am, however, already scheduling for early spring 2011, as well as reserving spots for the Class of 2012.

My November is almost full with both new clients and returning ones (which I LOVE), with babies, and cute kiddos. Before we know it, Christmas will be here!

Washington Irving Quote

Quote about Smiling

It’s a Boy! High school senior, that is.

Ha! (And I hope he doesn’t hate me for using that title – I couldn’t resist!)

This senior from McNary is the only high school senior BOY I’ve photographed for portraits since the Class of 2011 portrait season began for Daveen Photography this past July.

It was very fun and a great way to spend a morning. I don’t think he minded too much, either, because:

1. He was smiling and talking seemed to be enjoying himself.
2. He agreed to things with a good attitude. (At least that’s I think that it what the phrase, “it’s tight” means!)
